Governor Cuomo has pardoned 29 people

Governor Andrew Cuomo has pardoned 29 people convicted of various crimes on the territory of the state of new York in different years.

As stated on the website of the Governor in an official statement on Amnesty, she referred to «rehabilitate itself individuals who have demonstrated remorse and a commitment to their community. 22 immigrant received forgiveness for the sins of his youth

The first list included 22 names of migrants. Pardon of persons convicted of serious crimes

Criticism of some mass media called the Governor’s decision to commute his sentence for multiple persons convicted of more serious crimes. They can return home to their families, and hopes the Governor’s office, to a normal life.

This 52-year-old Andre Jenkins, who was convicted for robbery in 2005, a 42-year-old Brian Masterson who has been convicted of 6 robberies in 2006, 38-year-old Michael Crawford was convicted of murder and robbery, as well as a 49-year-old Roy Bolus and Alphonse Riley-James, where murder, robbery, theft and drug trafficking.
