The sex slave, sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of a client, pardoned after 15 years in prison

In 2006, a juvenile, brown was convicted as an adult and sentenced to life imprisonment for first-degree murder and theft.

5 years later, her case was again in the spotlight in connection with the release of the PBS documentary «Me facing life: the history of Cintoia» («Me Facing Life: Cyntoia»s Story»). In the film, brown told how she was forced into prostitution and repeatedly raped.
