In 2016 Barbosa ordered the purchase by the company of 63 iPhone worth more than $58 million and transferred the entire batch to his accomplices for sale on the black market. All the stolen smartphone could not be traced, but we know that some of them were sold in Russia, India and Saudi Arabia.

Even earlier, in 2013, the defendant committed forgery. When hiring, he corrected payroll, inflating the amount of salary that you got in the previous place of work. Due to forgery Barbosa’s salary increased by $30 thousand.

It’s hard to imagine, but the information about a major embezzlement and forgery could not emerge, if not before that Barbosa was caught on extortion. The official demanded «compensation» from the financial firm KPMG in exchange for the conclusion of her contract.

The verdict in the case of Angela Barbosa, the court will issue on March 25.
