The police captain of Los Angeles, 50-year-old Lillian Carranza, said in the lawsuit against the Department that she was the victim of sexual harassment and hostile work environment after her colleagues shared a photo of a naked woman, claiming it Carranza.

Lillian Carranza oversees the division’s commercial crimes, which investigates burglaries. The woman claims, the leadership of the LAPD knew that the staff of the Department have repeatedly exchanged this picture and derogatory comments about her.
In fact, the photograph depicts a detective Isabel Villegas. She went to the police Glendora in November 2018 and obtained a court order against a male officer, who, according to her, was responsible for distributing her Nude pictures. In its report it noted that the object of such offensive behaviour by male colleagues was also another woman from Los Angeles.
In a lawsuit filed on January 25, Carranza argues that the Deputy chief of police of Los Angeles, Debra McCarthy, who oversees the LAPD’s internal investigation, learned of the insults the captain of the police report in November last year. Nevertheless, the Department has not taken any steps to inform Carranza committed violations. The woman asked McCarthy and the Department to make it clear to her colleagues that she’s not the one shown in the photo. But, according to her lawsuit in order to stop and condemn the sharing the photo, nothing was done.
On Friday, Carranza responded to the hashtag #MeTooMVMT #MeToo on Twitter in a sign that she too was a victim of a sexual offence.

The captain said that hostile to women in the workplace she endured years of sexual harassment, including verbal harassment, derogatory comments, epithets and insults.
