23-year-old «priestess of love» in South Los Angeles was accused of human trafficking. She faces 15 years in prison

«Priestess of love» in South Los Angeles, known on social networks under the nickname «Cutie», faces a prison sentence. Thursday, January 24, she was sentenced for bringing underage girls to work in the sex industry.

According to the U.S. attorney’s office, 23-year-old Melanie Williams can get a minimum of 15 years in prison for involvement in trafficking by force, fraud or coercion. It is also obliged to pay substantial compensation to all its victims. The defendant’s lawyer declined to comment on the case.

According to her plea, Williams molested the girl she recruited via social networks to work as prostitutes. In one incident shown in court documents, Williams told the victim to remove all his clothes and then poured bleach on her and was beaten with fists and broom.

The accused also forced the victim to get a tattoo «Melanie» on the face, took the girl’s belongings and identification documents, and constantly threatened to kill her if she tries to leave.

In a court statement says that Williams has published in social networks a video with footage where she beat the young women and threatened them with firearms.

The defendant also admitted that on the Internet fraud has attracted 2 underage girls to work as prostitutes on the street. Income from «work» juvenile «pimp» was taken away.

According to the affidavit, Williams, who has been registered in many social networks, particularly Snapchat and Instagram, 2 years ago was sentenced to 3 months in prison for prostitution.
