January 15, police arrested 57-year-old man who slipped on purpose and fell to get insurance. A surveillance camera has recorded the moment.
«The investigation revealed that Goldensky purposely dropped the ice in the morning at work, fell on the floor and waited until it finds» — say the Prosecutor’s office in middlesex County.
Then the man demanded the compensation for the services of the ambulance and treatment at a local hospital.
That day, when there was an «accident», Goldensky just signed a contract with the employer.
«We will vigorously prosecute those who illegally manipulates the system,» said County Prosecutor Andrew Carey.
Alexander Goldansky charged with insurance fraud 3rd degree and misappropriation of funds of the 3rd degree. The trial will take place on 7 February.
