In the US, 82-year-old veteran wanted to commit suicide after he gave a couple of scams $50 thousand.

82-year-old veteran of the U.S. coast guard said the Manager of the crisis center that he wanted to kill himself because he did not have any savings.

It all began 3 years ago when the neighbor men Jessica Henry appealed, complaining that she had nothing to feed their children and have no car to drive them to school.

According to police, after a request from the veteran gave a woman «a few dollars». But six months ago, when the man moved to another place — Henry called him and said that she was arrested. According to the police report, the woman claimed that she had to pay $350 a day for urine samples, conducted by the inspector overseeing the probation.

Soon the veteran started to call the woman’s boyfriend Gregory Dusan, who introduced the employees of the probation service. Every time the man demanded from the old man $150-$1000. If the veteran did not have money, then Dusan took his car and gave until, until he will pay him up to $1500.

The victim claimed that the Serbs had threatened him with jail if he does not pay the penalty for Henry. When the Bank notified the veteran that his account already has the debt, the man had thoughts of suicide.

On may 8, the man went to the representatives of the Crisis center veterans (Veterans Crisis Center), after which they contacted police. The victim told law enforcement that he gave Henry and «probation officer» more than $50 thousand, with the result that he was unable to pay the rent.

At the time of the arrest Dusan was driving the victim’s car on West Lison Parkway in the Henry house.

The investigation showed that 31-year-old Henry and 28-year-old Dusan coerced and lied to the victim because of his addiction to drugs. Scammers accused of using an elderly person in their own interests for the sake of profit. Dusan brought additional charges of impersonating a correctional officer/probation services.

Henry and Dusan are in the Volusia County Branch. The veteran alleges that before the arrest, they threatened him with death, so the pair can add additional charges.
