A couple from Pennsylvania was charged with conspiracy to commit fraud and theft after they faked the birth and death of their «child» to get my friends gifts and donations worth more than $600.
Casey and Joffrey lang pretended to be expecting a baby for months: on Facebook and there were posts with pictures of the growing belly Casey, and at some point the couple officially announced that they will have a boy.
Friends arranged for Langov a party on the occasion of the birth of the child in may 2019. Then Casey said that he will spend the last two months before the birth of a baby in the hospital.
The appearance of the «child» light announced July 3. The pair even posted a photo of his son Easton’s Walt lang — on their Facebook page. But then they wrote that the boy died just a few hours after birth.
According to an online epitaph, Easton was born at 03:11 Conemaugh Memorial Hospital and died 5 hours later, «time to hear from mom and dad «I love you» countless times».
Wasting no time, the Langs created a GoFundMe page to raise funds — supposedly for the funeral. After the pair reported that they had cremated the son, held a memorial service.

According to a friend Casey, Cynthia Deluzio, Langs argued that the boy was born with fluid in his lungs and this was the cause of his death.
«[They said] that the child had fluid in the lungs, but the doctors just gave it back to Casey and said that everything will be okay. I immediately thought, here something not so,» says Cynthia.
Suspecting something was amiss, she called the funeral home and found out that there is no child named Easton lang there wasn’t cremated. Then Diluzio went to the police.
During the investigation the couple’s home found the doll-baby: obviously, it was in the photo with «newborn». The police also confirmed that no formal record of a child born or his death, does not exist.
GoFundMe has announced that cooperating with the investigation and covering the costs to everyone who donated funds campaign Langov. The pair managed to raise $550 from 15 people.
