Police arrested 22-year-old guy who lied about the mass shooting at the fair the LA County Fair in California, to avoid a trip with his parents.

Pomona police Department reported that they became aware of the threats, sent by email on Friday, September 13. As a result, they were able to identify the sender — it was Eric Villasenor from Los Angeles Sylmar.

As it turned out, he sent an email to the administration of the LA County Fair, that «someone is planning a mass shooting Sunday at a fairground site». The guy said that he just wanted «to inform you guys.»

«He was hoping that it would cause some chaos and excitement, this will be reflected in the media, — told reporters the chief of police Pomona Michael Olivieri. And then he could use it as an excuse for his parents not to go to the fair».
