Michael Jones Jr., 38, is accused of second-degree murder of his wife and four children.

Jones hid the bodies of his wife and children at home in Florida for several weeks and then took them to Georgia, where he dumped the body of Casey Jones, 32, in the car, and children Cameron Bowers, 10 years; Preston Bowers, 5; Mercalli Jones, 2; and Aiany Jones, 1 — buried.

Casey remains found Sunday in the County of Brantley. Her children aged 1 to 10 years found nearby a few hours later — after the police questioned them father.

The mother and children were reported missing on Saturday, but close relatives claim that they had been missing since 6 weeks ago. The last time Casey Jones had seen in Florida in Ocala in early August, driving a Chrysler Pacifica, 2017.

Jones told the police that he was in a traffic accident, and then buried the bodies of their children.

Investigators believe Jones killed the family in SUMMERFIELD and kept their bodies in the house several weeks, and then moved across state lines in the minivan. Jones was charged with second-degree murder, in the near future he also set additional charges.

Authorities say that earlier the family had domestic violence and Casey Jones never filed the divorce papers.
