Saved a homeless kitten became a new employee of the police Department in Arkansas. It is now the responsibility furball, among other things, to look cute and bring happiness to the community.

«Bring a four-legged officer, a recent team member of the police Department Fort-Smith, — stated in the message local law enforcement in Facebook. In the next few days, we will choose a name for our furry friend. We ask the public to help us do that.»

Officers from the Fort Smith hope that their new recruit will help the Department better communicate with residents.

«He’s going to attend different events and, of course, we will publish his photo on the network, which will allow us to reach more informal communication with our community. This project aims to make the Department more accessible and interesting way to convey information about what it means to be a policeman», — told in the police Department.

The Department also hope that their decision will set an example for residents to take animals from shelters.

As for the name furry officer, the police Department plans this week to hold a vote in social networks. Now the leaders are names such as: Blue, Cuffs, Fuzz, Sir Purrs-a-Lot and Paws.
