A hotline to prevent suicide among students was phone sex

The phone number given to the children of southern California as a hotline to prevent suicide among students was a completely different kind of call center.

Lancaster Unified School District apologizes for that of an administrative error provided to the students at New Vista Middle School room «phone sex».

On the reverse side of the ID cards of students are listed emergency numbers and resources. The difference between the two hotline numbers is just one number, but it was enough to anger many parents.

«Late on Monday evening we were informed that ID cards of students of secondary schools, where the turnover of the given information about emergency resources have the wrong number hotline suicide prevention — said in a statement the school district provided Daily News. — We are very sorry for this error, and we make every effort to correct it.»

Parents of students who have received misinformation, told ABC News that they were shocked by this confusion.

«I was just stunned,’ said the mother of one of Schoolgirls Jenin Lavelle. — I was a bit upset, Yes.»

Lavelle said that her daughter was for fun called the number, and then quickly asked her barenblat. They could not believe what I heard.

According to mother, she posted the error message in Facebook and this post has gone viral.

On Tuesday, October 29, the administration has collected old ID card and will soon distribute new, representatives of the school.

«I think that the County should be responsible for what they produce. I mean, it’s under their name, and they are ultimately responsible,» says Lavelle.
