A woman invented a fraudulent scheme, the adoption of her foster child

The foster mother from Florida was arrested on charges of organisation of adoption, during which she allegedly used his own son as a puppet in a fraud scheme.

Tina Ski (45) was allegedly posing as an employee of the Florida Department of Children and Families, although she was nursing the mother of a handicapped boy. She presented everything in such a way that a handicapped boy, whom she adopted later in 2017 when he was 2 years old, you can adopt other people.

According to a press release from the law Enforcement Department of Florida, a couple from Ohio interested in the possibility to adopt the boy. They visited Tina, the resident Interlachen, a town 50 miles southwest of St. Augustine to meet with the child. Then Tina allegedly allowed the boy to go to Ohio with the couple, but told them that they will have to return to Florida several times before the adoption procedure is completed.

Tina made a couple of times to bring the child back to Florida in September and October of 2017, to pretend that the child lives with her during visits of employees of the Florida Department of Children and Families. At the same time she received assistance under the program of preferential purchase of products to assist with the payment of kindergarten, while in fact the child lived in Ohio. In total, she received about $4000.

Tina finally allowed to adopt a child, when he returned to Florida October 31, 2017 for a final hearing on the adoption, but after hearing the child back in Ohio.

The child continued to live with his family in Ohio, but after the pair was unable to obtain the documents necessary to complete the process of adoption of the boy, they contacted Florida Community Partnership for Children. Enforcement Department of Florida began an investigation of the case of Tina in 2018 after complaints received.

The police said that during this scheme, Tina has not received from the pair any money. Now she is charged of the organization of the fraudulent scheme to commit theft in especially large size and illegal to give the child up for adoption. In addition, she is accused of giving false testimony under oath.

The woman gave herself and her put in jail St. Johns County Jail in St. Augustine. She was released on bail in the amount of $20 thousand

ABC News reporters haven’t managed to contact Tina or a representative of law Enforcement Department of Florida to review.
