A resident of Saint Petersburg (Florida) was arrested on Saturday, December 21, that were handing out bags of marijuana.
According to witnesses, the 67-year-old Richard Spurrier handing out marijuana to bystanders in the city centre.

One of the witnesses said that he had seen police officers approached the man on the street.
«Yeah, he’s like, «merry Christmas, merry Christmas», and it seems that the police went straight to him and said, «What are you doing?»» — Shannon Robinson told Bay News 9.
«When he took the weed after he was arrested, his bag had a scale and one big bag of marijuana», she continued.
Spurrier accused of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and store supplies for drugs. Police added that at the time of arrest the man was found hidden in a cane sword.
According to the testimony, Spurrier explained how to distribute bags of the drug, «because Christmas».
He was released on his own recognizance shortly after his arrest.
