44-year-old Tiffany Alberts from Walcott (in) was sentenced Thursday, December 26, to prison and to five years probation. She was found guilty of six counts of aggravated and single charges of neglect, according to the Marion County Prosecutor’s office.

Alberts was indicted in 2016 after allegations that she used a syringe to pour their stool in a drip of his 15-year-old son when he was undergoing treatment for leukemia.
She deliberately put him «in a situation that threatened life or health,» according to court documents.
