A white nationalist who ran for U.S. Senate in Florida in 2016, Augustus Sol Invictus was arrested Monday, December 30, for kidnapping, domestic violence and possession of a firearm used during the crime.
Inviktus, a lawyer from Orlando, attracted the attention of the national media during his unsuccessful attempts to resist Marco Rubio, the libertarian candidate for state Senate in 2016.
During the failed campaign, he claimed that he slaughtered a goat and drank its blood as part of pagan ritual.
He was the main speaker at a rally in Charlottesville (Virginia), August 12, 2017, when the conflict between supporters of white supremacy and their opponents ended with three deaths.
According to him, it is a white nationalist Richard Spencer has laid the groundwork for the deadly racist rally in Charlottesville. Inviktus denied the relationship with Spencer and other racists.
The accused was arrested in a shopping Mall Florida Deputy Sheriff Brevard County on a warrant issued in South Carolina. His describe him as «fugitive from the state».

The fdle started following the Invictus after he was tracked down at a relative’s house. He was taken into custody without incident after exiting the gym. Prison records show that Invictus is held in custody without bail and is scheduled to appear before a judge on January 15.
