A lover of cats has filed a lawsuit against a woman who has not allowed «adopted» the cat to sleep in your own bed

A lover of catswith cancer, has filed a lawsuit against the woman who sheltered her animal, because the «new mother» does not allow the cat to sleep in her bed.

According to 73-year-old plaintiff Carol Mani, she got breast cancer and could not fully take care of his cat named Lacey. A woman named Danette Romano agreed to shelter Lacey – the Norwegian forest cat. Because the cat used to sleep in our bed, Carol Mani said that the new owner promised her that this «tradition» will continue, but this did not happen.

So Carol Mani filed a lawsuit in the Supreme court, Onondaga County (state of new York).

«Romano knew that won’t allow Lacey to sleep with her at night, and deliberately concealed this information from Carol Mani,» reads the complaint.

In the spring of 2018 Romano of Syracuse adopted a cat for $65 and promised to return her money, if the cat is unhappy, says the lawsuit.

When the late former owner visited Lacey in her new house, her husband Romano acknowledged that they do not allow the cat to sleep in bed with them.

According to court documents, the husband Romano also said that the fearful cat «waited at the foot of the stairs every night, but not up to my bedroom.»

According to Mani, she started throwing Danette Romano e-mail and voice messages to discuss this issue. She even went to the house of Romano 20 December 2018, but she was detained by the police.

Carol Mani, which is included in the Board of Directors of the Central New York Cat Coalition (organization that cares for homeless cats), sued for breach of contract and is demanding payment of damages. The woman’s lawyer declined to comment to reporters.
