The FBI told the family of a missing young student that they are waiting for important news, and was advised to find a representative for official statements.
Kristin Smart, 19-year-old student at California Polytechnic state University went missing after a party 23 years ago. Denise, the girl’s mother, reported that she was contacted by a representative of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and said «be ready». In addition, the agents told Denise that her family might need a representative. The FBI suggest that the family wants «to leave» for a while. According to Denise, she began to experience anxiety after the call agents.
«It really is something you might not expect. We want to provide you with all necessary support.» — said the representative of the FBI.
Kristin Smart disappeared on may 25, 1996. One of the students told the police that he said goodbye to Christine about her Dorm. The next day the neighbor girls called the campus police and reported that Smart has not returned. However, other students thought she went camping, so the officers did not declare it officially missing for three days.
The student, who said that the last time you saw a Smart near her Dorm, was questioned by authorities, his house was searched, but he was not arrested or charged in this case. Christine was officially declared dead in 2002.
