The teenager complained to police when ordered online fake ID

A teenager from Ontario went to the police because he was upset about cheating when he tried to buy a fake ID online, reports Global News.

On Wednesday constable ed Sanchuk posted a video on Twitter, describing the incident. In it he said that a minor, whose name was not called, sent not only money, but personal information to unknown persons, but never got a fake ID.

The teenager called the police Tuesday morning to report a crime.

Sanuk recognized that children often want to document adults, to be able to drive a car or to travel to the US without parental consent. But he said that the purchase of counterfeit document online can lead to allegations of crime and other risks. Besides the loss of money criminals can use personal information of a child to apply for a credit card, and also to crank out another type of identity theft.

«Please do not give personal information to anyone over the Internet. You don’t know where to go this information,» — said in a video Sanuk.

He also said that he would speak with their children about the protection of personal data and fake ID and urged other parents to do the same. He also urged people to visit the local center fraud to learn about the tricks that scammers use to commit identity theft.

According to The Eyeopener, student newspaper at the University of Toronto, fake ID could buy in the $30-80. Colleges there are many places where they are sold.

It is also reported that this is not the first time a teenager has contacted police to report the crime, which he did. In February 2019, the police in van Burena, Arkansas received a call to 911 from a teenager who told dispatchers that he drinks at home, but he is a minor.

ABC News reports that officers arrived to his apartment, where 18-year-old young man came out with his hands. The police tried to convince him just to get back in and don’t take alcohol. But the teenager did not agree. He said he was a very naughty boy. «I really need to jail,» he said.

Finally, the officers agreed, was indicted in the drinking of alcoholic beverages in a public place and was detained for 6 hours minimum, and then go for a minimal amount of the Deposit.
