In the case of the murder of Tessa Majors have arrested a 14-year-old. He will be tried as an adult

Tessa Majors was found with fatal stab wounds in Morningside Park in new York in December 2019. Her main suspect is 14-year-old Rashaun weaver.

As reported by the SUN, the teenager will appear before court on Wednesday. To be tried as an adult.

Majors , freshman women’s school Barnard College, went for a walk through Morningside Park in Manhattan on December 11, two days before the exams. Around 7pm the girl in the Park collided with his murderers. She was injured during the struggle.

Police say Tessa was able to climb the stairs to seek help from the campus COP, who called 911. The girl died in hospital from the received stab wounds.

Tessa played in a rock band and wanted to study journalism in College.

«Unfortunately, we have to return this young girl. added Shea, Even the best, impartial investigation can not do this».

Two teenagers have been arrested in the investigation of Tessa’s death:

  • 13-year-old Sharr Davis (he was arrested in December);
  • 14-year-old Rashaun weaver (will stand trial on Wednesday).

After the death of Tessa’s police stepped up patrols around the Park and campus, which is part of Columbia University of the ivy League.

Killing Majors alarmed local residents because of its proximity to the school campus.
