A girl named Nadia is without her mother’s permission was taken to a psychiatric clinic where she was given sedatives. «They called me and said she was so uncontrollable that they had to apply the Baker Act»,- said the mother of the child. «They called me and said, «We’re calling to inform you that there’s nothing more we could do.» There’s nothing more you could do for my 6 year old child? She was taken to the hospital and shut in a lockable room. They said they did this in an attempt to calm her down.» The woman said she initially did not plan to sue, but her lawyer said that «it is quite clear that the claim need to submit».
