The widow of Kobe Bryant has filed a lawsuit against the owners of the crashed helicopter after the death of her husband and daughter

Widow Kobe Bryant on Monday filed a lawsuit against the company Island Express, which owned the crashed helicopter in the crash that killed her 41-year-old husband, 13-year-old daughter and 7 people.

The lawsuit alleges that Island Express were allowed to lift the helicopter into the air despite the fact that weather conditions that day was unsafe for flight. The claim for wrongful death was filed shortly before the memorial service, which Vanessa called «Celebration of life» for the NBA legends and his daughter Gianna. Thousands of mourners gathered at the Staples Center in Los Angeles to honor Kobe Bryant.

26 January, when the helicopter crashed Sikorsky S-76B, fog in Los Angeles was so thick that police in Los Angeles put their helicopters before noon — said the representative of the press service of the police of Los Angeles, Joshua Rubenstein.

The Department will require for clearance, to meet the following conditions: 2 miles visibility and height cloud base of at least 800 feet.

The lawsuit also alleges that the pilot was flying at a speed of 180 miles an hour in a thick fog. Pilot Ara Saban was among nine people killed in the crash.
