58-year-old Charles Nielsen addressed the Committee that voted for sending the bill to the Committee on oversight and reform, at the time, as young Bailey Nielsen stood silently next to the weapon slung over his right shoulder, according to the New York Post.
«Bailey keeps a loaded AR-15,» said Charles Nielsen policies. «People live in fear, afraid of what they don’t understand. She shoots with 5 years. She shot down my first deer with this gun in 9 years. She carries it responsibly. She knows how not to pull the trigger. We live in fear in a society which feeds on fear.»
According to Nielsen, Bailey is an example of responsible use of weapons, and this proves that the permit to carry firearms must also be distributed to people who are not residents of Idaho.
Residents of Idaho who are 18 years or older may carry concealed handguns in city limits in Idaho without a permit or training, in accordance with the new law, which came into force last summer. The law will apply to any legal resident of the United States or a member of the U.S. armed forces.
