The plane made an emergency landing due to passenger attempts to open door

The passenger tried to open a plane door during the flight. It is not clear what he expected, because cabin pressure would not allow the door to open. However, he is very scared of other passengers on the plane.

The plane of airline American Airlines flight on Tuesday was forced to make an emergency landing mid-flight after an unruly passenger tried to open the exit door of the aircraft.

The plane took off from International airport O’hare and flew to the international airport Fort when the incident occurred, which led to the landing in St. Louis.

Another passenger of the plane Jonathan Cowan told news edition ABC News: «He started to approach the door. He had these big, black bulging eyes. There was no emotion… he started to lift the levers. He just started doing this, and attacked the door.»

However, the cabin pressure inside the aircraft did not allow the door to open, and Cowan and other passengers subdued the man. «I put him on the floor, forced not to move,» he told Cowan. «A couple of other guys helped me to get him to calm down,» he added.

The man who tried to open the door of the aircraft and whose name is not called, was cuffed and removed from the plane by police after the plane landed in St. Louis. The airline said that no one was injured during the incident.

The incident was reported to the Federal Bureau of investigation. An FBI spokesman said a news publication ABC News that the Bureau works with the airport police against the men were never brought no charges.

About whether or not the man under the influence of some substance and his health status is not reported. But if the man was not charged, it is possible to think that he’s been released and allowed to return home.
