Father from Florida, put a bullet in the thigh of his son, said that «he deserved it»

Man who shot at his son after a day of drinking alcoholic beverages, stated that he had it. Larry Clyatt Sr. allegedly told the deputies that «his son deserved it» and «he wanted to shoot him».

72-year-old father said that he shot his own son because he deserved it. The meeting of father and son in a house on Alan Boulevard Punta Gorda, FL, United States on Saturday did not go according to plan.

Larry Clyatt senior son drank and talked about the coronavirus. Clyatt Sr. expressed concern about the fact that thieves can take advantage of this pandemic to break into his house, so he pulled out a gun and began to clean it.

In the arrest report it was noted that the son of man wanted to father cleaned the gun, because they were drunk and in his opinion, such things should not engage in alcohol intoxication. He asked the father to postpone the weapon, but Clyatt Sr. did not listen.

A fight ensued, men began to fight for the weapon then Clyatt senior fired a bullet in the thigh of his son.

When Sheriff’s deputies appeared at the scene to arrest the father, he initially claimed it was an accident, and he allegedly thought that the gun wasn’t loaded.

Then he probably changed his mind and said NBC2 news publication that his son provoked him and that he should’ve expected it. Clyatt Sr. allegedly told the deputies that «his son deserved it» and «he wanted to shoot him».

The son of the man was taken to the hospital. He didn’t want to press charges against his father, because he believes that it was an accident. On the father of the young men said that he the incident is not considered.

Despite the reluctance of the son to start a case against the father, Klaatu Sr. was charged with unlawful use of force against another person using a deadly weapon.
