Police said that a Florida man kidnapped and murdered his wife which they lived together, and then told the cops that she was hospitalized with coronavirus.
43-year-old David Anthony from Jupiter imprisoned in the County palm beach and charged with second-degree murder and kidnapping in connection with the death of his 51-year-old wife Gretchen, whose body was never found.
Anthony, who was arrested in new Mexico on 31 March, suspected of killing his wife 10 days earlier.
A few days after the alleged offense, five people received a disturbing text messages that were allegedly sent to a woman on 23 and 24 March.
In one message, Gretchen said she was «quarantined» for two weeks after infection COVID-19.
David Anthony told Jupiter police detective Gretchen was treated in hospital from the virus, but in the records of the hospital nothing was said about a patient, despite the fact that the Parking was indeed her car.
A neighbor couple later told police that she heard «bloodcurdling scream» female, approximately March 21.
Police found the pair in the kitchen two bottles of cleaning solution and rags and towels that were «reddish substance» that looked like blood.
According to investigators, video from the house shows that Antony was carrying on March 21, «unknown object» on your porch.
The judge Thursday refused to release on bail a suspect, who was extradited to Florida.
