President Joe Biden announced Wednesday that he is instructing the Department of Education to use its legal powers against Republican governors who are trying to prevent local school authorities from obliging students to wear masks as part of the fight against COVID-19.
Speaking in White home, Biden noted that some politicians are trying to turn public safety measures into «political disputes for their own benefit,» and warned that they «set a dangerous tone.» Cardone will use his supervisory powers and take legal action «if necessary.»
