Cuomo's subordinate demanded a criminal investigation after accusations of harassment

There was a sheriff's office filed an application to initiate a criminal case against the Governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo. It came from one of 11 female employees whose allegations of sexual harassment against the Democratic governor were detailed in a report by the state attorney general released earlier this week.

A lawyer representing the anonymous prosecutor confirmed the claim to CNN. and a second source familiar with the case.

A woman identified only as «Executive Assistant 1» was among 11 people who accused Cuomo of sexual harassment in a report released Tuesday by the New York attorney general's office Laetitia James.

«Executive Assistant 1» told investigators that Cuomo grabbed her buttocks as they posed for a photo, according to the report. Cuomo himself, in his testimony, denies inappropriate touching the woman.

The report of the state attorney general also details another incident at the governor's mansion, when Cuomo allegedly climbed under her blouse and grabbed her by the chest.
