In the spring of the world’s largest statue depicting a Rhino, is located in Astor Place. The creators of the sculpture, Australian artists Jilly and mark Shatner a long time planning the creation of such ambitious project. It is expected that the installation will reach a height of 16 feet.
The art project was called the»Last three» (The Last Three). Currently the animals, a male and two females, all live under protection in the reserve in Kenya. Not long ago, the white rhinos were actively hunting for their valuable horns. Animals killed hundreds, and this led to the fact that the species was almost completely destroyed by human hands.
