Last spring, HBO has pleased viewers with quality drama series «Big little lies» («Big Little Lies»), filmed on the eponymous book by Liana Moriarty. The main feature of this project was the shining star of castes in the face of the beautiful Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon and Shailene Woodley, and a handful of other less become familiar, but still popular personalities like Zoe Kravitz and Alexander Skarsgard.
As a result of fruitful work of all members of the crew we got a quality drama with an elegantly twisted plot and a fairly unpredictable ending (which, however, many disappointed). Mystery, intrigue, scandals, amazing views and very nice soudtrack left a good impression and sense of completion.
But recently, HBO announced the return of the show for a second season, and honestly, I can’t imagine what they’re going to show us.
The official statement said that the new round of the plot we will see our favorite actors, although the channel is still negotiating with some members of the caste. Currently, it is known that the role of Madeleine and Celeste will again embody Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman, respectively. Actress will serve as Executive producers of the new season, along with screenwriter David Kelley and directed by Andrea Arnold.
Yet we know nothing about the plot, however, is writing the script for all seven episodes will deal with Kelly. In HBO said that the show will be devoted to «the evils of lies, the durability of friendship, the fragility of marriage and, of course, the vicious brutality harsh upbringing».
Reese Witherspoon hinted that the new season viewers will learn more about the residents of Monterey, digging up a few interesting secrets of family life of the characters.
Recall that earlier this year, the series Big Little Lies received 16 nominations for the Emmy, winning 8 of them, including a nomination for «Best mini-series».
