The borough President of Brooklyn Eric Adams said, as the Christmas festivities will be held in Brooklyn at Coney island and Prospect Park.
On Coney island will arrange a digital count twelve blows before the New year on a Parachute Jump, and in Prospect Park promised «the largest and most spectacular fireworks in Brooklyn». There will be live music.
«There is nothing better for a fun family holiday than to spend it in the center of the universe in Brooklyn,» said Adams.
Last year’s new year’s event at Coney island and Prospect Park was visited by over 15 thousand people, this year is expected even more.
In addition, Adams noted that from 18.00 on 31 December rides B&B Carousell, the Ferris Wheel Deno’s, Stop the Zombies 7D, Thunderbolt Roller Coaster and the Abe Stark rink will be free.
Coney island new year’s eve will be restaurants and entertainment, including: Applebee’s, Coney Island Brewery, Coney Island USA, El Dorado Bumper Cars, Kitchen 21, Nathan’s Famous, Tom’s Restaurant and White Castle.
Celebrations start on 31 December at 18.00, but live performances and entertainment from 21.00 (Coney island) and 22.30 (Prospect Park).
