Famous producer Harvey Weinstein, who last year was in the midst of a scandal with sexual harassment, faced additional charges. The new York public Prosecutor intends to prove the involvement of a Hollywood star back to 3 episodes. The punishment for such an offence: prison sentence of 10 years to life imprisonment.
We are talking about forcing sex, and 2 cases of predatory sexual violence. According to investigators, these crimes were committed in 2006. The victim’s name has not been disclosed, however, the district attorney Cyrus Vance insisted that these episodes must be attached to an existing case. Weinstein and his defense was unable to comment on the statement by the prosecution.

Recall that on 5 October 2017 year edition of the New York Times published an investigation of the harassment of the producer in respect of his players and Actressesthat worked with him. The accusations were made by Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, rose McGowan , and many others. In total on the illegal behavior of the producer said more than 40 women.
May 25, 2018 Weinstein surrendered to the police. He was accused of rape and forced oral sex. On the same day, the producer walked free on bail of $1 million. He must wear an electronic bracelet, and cannot leave the States of new York and Connecticut.
Given the new information, now the prosecution consists of 6 points, and as the victims are 3 female. Experts note that due to these changes, the court may review its decision on restrictive measures, and to put the suspect in jail. Harvey Weinstein of all charges denies. Lawyers intend to prove his innocence.
