Over the weekend in new Jersey will fly off 100 balloons from around the world

The Solberg airport in Ridington (NJ) is preparing to take North America’s largest summer festival of balloons. It starts today, July 27, and runs until Sunday, July 29.

The 36th annual festival of Ballooning QuickChek New Jersey will fly more than 100 balloons from around the world. Also the balls are launched with unusual shapes, such as 32-foot Elvis Presley in a sparkling white suit, the 35-metre puppy and 34-foot Panda.

Of course, it will be possible to fly in a balloon. True, the fun will cost a lot: $225 per hour per person for morning and $250 in the evening.

For those not ready to fork out, but still want to experience the feeling of flight, the festival organizers will arrange a short 5 minute flight on a tethered balloon, 30 metres above the ground. It will cost $20.

Tickets for the festival can be purchased online or ordered by telephone at 1-800-HOT-AIR9. Adult ticket for 1 day costs $35, for children from 4 to 12 years — $15, children under 4 years are free.

And, of course, will be lots of stalls with food. Complete each day of the festival will be a Grand fireworks display.
