The Federal Bureau of investigation (The Federal Bureau of Investigation – FBI) said that their agents managed to track down stolen 13 years ago shoes worn by the heroine of the legendary film «the Wizard of Oz» (1939). They were stolen from the Judy garland Museum, located in Grand rapids, Minnesota. Shoes celebrity was insured for $1 million.

Shoes known as the «road pair», was kidnapped in the result of a daring robbery of the night in August 2005. It all happened in less than a minute, and the crime was organized by professionals because they left no fingerprints and not hit the lens cameras. For many years I was not able to find any clues. In 2015, an anonymous fan of Judy garland even offered a reward of $1 million for information on the whereabouts of the shoes.
A year ago, the police Department of Grand rapids has requested assistance from the FBI. It turned out that the company which is the legal owner of the «road pair», blackmailing unknown people. They demanded to pay them several million dollars for the return of the shoes. The FBI quickly took on the criminals and the agents soon discovered the stolen piece. After analysis confirmed their origin, shoes sent to the Museum of American history in Washington.

Now employees of the Federal Bureau of investigation intends to establish the identity of people who carried out the robbery of the Museum in Minnesota. The Agency assured that criminals will not be able to escape punishment because their footprint is already out.
