How to cook a Turkey in the microwave? New trend — turkey challenge

Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful, to enjoy delicious food and… a little fun of their parents.

«Turkey challenge» on the eve of thanksgiving has become another viral prank on the Internet. Its essence is that people ask their parents and grandparents how to cook 11-pound Turkey in the microwave.

After that, the answers shocked relatives spread to Twitter with the hashtag #turkeychallenge, where users post screenshots of conversations.

While most parents were shocked by the stupidity of their children, others began to offer surprisingly useful tips.

For example, the father of the user under the name Julia replied simply enough to her question about the cooking time of a Turkey: «12 days».

Another mother responded to her daughter that she will call the police if she’s going to cook a Turkey in the microwave.

However, not all are addicted to this prank, because one of the biggest potential dangers of eating turkeys is a risk of Contracting Salmonella.

According to the Centers for control and prevention (CDC), each year about 1.2 million people in the USA pick up the bacteria and about 23 thousand of them have to be hospitalized.

This year there is an outbreak of salmonellosis, which has killed 1 person. Affected a total of 164 people in 35 States.
