On Friday, January 25, in new York at the age of 29 years died a chef Fatima Ali, which became widely known after the participation in 2017 in the American television show «Top Chef» produced by TV on the Bravo network. The last few years she was fighting cancer Ewing’s, but the disease was relentless.
An aspiring chef Fatima Ali moved to new York at the age of 18 years old from Karachi (Pakistan) to pursue a career in the restaurant industry and receive training in famous culinary school Culinary Institute of America, the main campus is located in Hyde Park (Dutchess County now County, new York).
She lived in the Upper East side and worked as a sous-chef in establishments such as the Italian trattoria Stella 34 and the Spanish restaurant La Fonda Del Sol.
In 2017, Ali took part in the 15th season of «Top Chef — Colorado«, where he took 7th place. In December of the same year, after his participation in the show, the young chef was diagnosed with the cancer Ewing (lat. myeloma endotheliale). The disease affects the skeleton, most often the tumor begins to develop in the long bones, but occasionally malignant tumors occur in the pelvis, chest and spine.
In early 2018, the girl endured chemotherapy and surgery to remove the tumor. Sarcoma struck the shoulder blade and the doctors had to remove about 30% of the bone and soft tissues to fully clean the education. In the end, the left hand at Ali forever remain inactive. But the girl was not discouraged, and struggled with the disease, hoping someday to open my own restaurant.
Friends, family and the fans always supported her love of the past helped Fatima get in Top Chef the title of «Fan Favorite» and a cash prize of $10 thousand for Ali at this time was battling cancer, but came to the recording and announcement of the nomination.

In October 2018, Ali told that the cancer returned and the doctors give her a year of life.
«Cancer cells, which is believed to my doctors, gone, revenge my left hip and femur. My oncologist said that I needed to live one year with the new regime of chemotherapy with or without him,» wrote Ali on Healthyish.
She decided to spend the remaining time enjoying life and to visit the restaurants of your dreams and to think about writing a book.
