Football club LA Galaxy will install near your stadium a statue of David Beckham

Club LA Galaxy will install a statue of soccer superstar David Beckham. February 8, the official representative of the Galaxy Brendan Hannan confirmed that the statue will be open before the start of the football season on March 2.

Beckham joined LA Galaxy in 2007 and spent 6 seasons in Los Angeles. He participated in 2 Championships of the Cup of football League MLS stadium, now known as Dignity Health Sports Park.

After his successful career at Manchester United and Real Madrid, Beckham became the first player joining the MLS in accordance with the «designated player rule» and defined a new career path for other global superstars. His transition to a new team influenced the increase in the global reputation and overall quality of the North American League. Beckham still gets the benefit of increased levels of the League as co-owner of MLS club Inter Miami, which begins play next year.

It is expected that Beckham will attend the opening ceremony of the statue, when after 3 weeks the football season will begin with a confrontation pyatibratova MLS champion Galaxy vs Chicago Fire.

A statue of Beckham will be the first honoring a former player of MLS outside the stadium. FC Dallas has installed a statue of the late owner Lamar hunt near Toyota Stadium.

In the United States statues of Beckham, though not permanent, has already appeared. 9 3-foot statues of the football player, wearing only underwear, were installed as part of his second Bodywear ad campaign for H&M. They’ve been installed for 4 days in multiple locations in Los Angeles, new York and San Francisco.

43-year-old Englishman still involved with the MLS as a co-owner of the future of Inter club Miami, which should be out on the field in 2020. Football club is looking for a temporary home stadium until, until completed the construction of its new site. Co-owner Jorge Mas said that they refused of baseball’s Miami Marlins. The venue of the home games next year will be announced in late February or early March.
