On February 23 in new York opens Orchid Show: what you need to know

If you are tired of the cold and you can’t wait for spring, you need to be sure to visit the annual exhibition of orchids at The Orchid Show which will be held at the new York Botanical garden.

What is an Orchid Show in new York?

This annual event, gathers lovers of flora from around the world. The theme of the 17th annual festival of flora, The Orchid Show – Singapore. And not surprising, because it is recognized as a city of flowers, but especially love the orchids. Singaporeans believe their country’s colors and an integral part of their culture. The event will be held with the support of the Gardens by the Bay and Singapore Botanic gardens.

After dark you can see the famous Supertrees, illuminated lights, and archways from living plants. This is the highlight of National Orchid garden, creating a unique atmosphere. Perhaps at some point you even begin to doubt that you are still in winter new York city, not in a flourishing Singapore.

Here you will also get rare hybrids of orchids from around the world, for example, Vanda Awkwafina.

When and where will take place the exhibition of orchids in new York?

It will be held at the new York Botanical garden (2900 Southern Blvd, Bronx) inside the Enid A. Haupt Observatory.

The exhibition opens February 23 and will end on 28 April 2019. So you have enough time to develop these beautiful flowers.
