The star of the teen drama «Riverdale» and the series «Beverly hills, 90210» 52-year-old Luke Perry was hospitalized after a massive stroke.
The representative of the fire Department of Los Angeles has confirmed to Variety that today, February 28, at approximately 9:39 a.m. a call was received from the house of Perry. Although the representative could not give neither the names nor the nature of the medical emergency, he said that one person was taken to a nearby hospital.
Publicist Arnold Robinson told the Associated Press that 52-year-old actor «is currently under supervision of physicians».
According to TMZ, sources connected with Perry, saying that he was put into a medically induced coma. Representative for the actor denied the statement.
Coincidentally, Perry was hospitalized on the same day, when the Fox has announced the revival of the cult TV series «Beverly hills, 90210,» where the actor played Dylan, Makeee from 1990 to 1995 and from 1998 to 2000. Almost all stars have confirmed their participation, except for the Perry and Shannen Doherty (Brenda Walsh).
One of his colleagues in the TV series tori spelling told «Access Live» that with a busy schedule Perry on the set of «Riverdale,» he will not be able to take part in all the episodes, but will still star in the sequel whenever possible.
