Died lead singer of the Prodigy Keith flint

In the UK died vocalist of the legendary electronic group The Prodigy’s Keith flint. He was 49 years old.

According to the tabloid The Sun, who first reported the death of the singer, Flynt was found dead in his house around 8 am. Ambulance staff tried to resuscitate him, but to no avail.

According to preliminary police data, the musician died not as a result of violent death.

Flint recently returned to the UK from Australia, and in may was to begin a tour of The Prodigy at USA.

Many celebrities have reacted to the death of flint. Ed Simons from the Chemical Brothers tweeted: «Oh my gosh, I am so sad to hear about Keith flint… He was very kind to Tom and I when we first started performing together … a great man.»

Singer Beverley knight wrote: «I just found out, my heart is broken. Once it was the most innovative, fearless, bold on stage, and Keith was perfect. We lost a Titan.»

Keith flint was born in Dunmow, Essex. From the beginning of participation in The Prodigy, which was founded in 1990, he was a dancer. In 1996, the flint first began to sing on the track «Firestarter» and»Breathe».

In 2005 the group received a Grammy award for best dance/electronic album «Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned». The musician was the personification BritPop in the ‘ 90s largely because of his dance style and unusual punk haircut that made him one of the most recognizable characters of that time.
