«I was afraid she rejects me»: the famous bearded lady found love and got married

Famous bearded woman told her story of love, and her husband admitted that he was sure that he would be rejected.

Little Bear Schwartz (36 years old) from Seattle and Tobias Brady (45 years old) talked about a year when a girl in a desperate attempt to find a young person asked on Facebook to potential suitors. Then it turned out that the man with whom she had long been familiar, feels for her tender feelings.

Little Bear suffers from polycystic ovarian syndrome since the age of 14, leading to increased hair growth on her body. The girl began to notice the «enhanced» hair growth on the face and chest as a teenager, and although she went to the doctor, wasn’t sure what is causing the problem.

She spent the next 16 years, «trying to hide it,» and shaved his face and chest to not be shy in front of others. Little Bear said: «My youth was not easy. I have much growing hair, and no one could help me or tell why this is happening». She adds: «no One advised me just to grow them, this option was not even considered».

But when she turned 31, she moved to Seattle in the new environment, decided to abandon the razor. She recalls: «I was sent an invitation to the contest of beards, and I thought it would allow me to get some money. I took part in the competition and won.» Now she considers his beard his «star feature», but acknowledges that a loved one was not easy to find.

She says: «I had no problems Dating, but I wanted to be sure that the loved one will not be afraid to appear with me in public».

Eighteen months after a very messy breakup she posted on Facebook post, referring to potential suitors. Tobias, who has helped her with the move, wrote to her and admitted that he immediately liked. He says: «She was always so genuine, loving person. It’s real. This is the man I want to know better.»

But he remembers that he was afraid to admit the girl feelings, being self-denial: «I thought she was going to say, «thanks, but stop acting so weird.» But we somehow just all came together and we started spending time together.»

The couple admits that sometimes it is not easy: «People always pay attention to us. I would like to say that this is not a problem and I can ignore them. Look at me, laugh at me, people trying to «secretly» take my picture. And, frankly, it’s insulting».

Tobias says that in these cases he tries to support her as you can. He explains: «When we’re in public and she feels uncomfortable, I just tell her to calm down and kiss me. So we say to everyone «leave her alone, she’s not alone»».
