The President of the United States Donald trump denied that in an interview with British newspaper he called the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle «nasty.»

«I never called Meghan Markle «vile». It invented Fake News Media and they are sick! Will @CNN, @nytimes and others to apologize? I doubt!», — trump wrote on Sunday, June 2, on Twitter.

It was the President’s response to the article, which was published by the newspaper The Sun. In a media interview published on Friday, may 31, trump said he didn’t know what Markle called him a «misogynist» and «divisive» during the election campaign of 2016.

«I didn’t know that. What can I say? I didn’t know what she’s disgusting,» said trump, who travels to Britain on a state visit next week.
