Instead of celebrating graduation with classmates, the girl had arranged a pizza party for the homeless

Lynn Carrasco ordered 95 pizzas. High school student and her friends filled the bags with gifts and waiting for the guests. But it was not the usual party in honor of graduation. Carrasco is just not wanted. Instead, she was treated to pizza inhabitants of a shelter for homeless women and children in Houston, Texas.

«Not all people have this choice, as I have. It’s not fair. There are many people who need help. So I try to help,» she told CNN.

Before the girl is already engaged in charity work in the center Star of Hope Family Development Center, along with his family. But this time it was different.

She invited her friends to help her and set to work. During the month before the party the boys collected toothbrushes, toothpaste, wet wipes and deodorants. They Packed their 400 hygiene packages to distribute to the inmates of the orphanage.

The party was held on Sunday. The receiver liked the pizza, and bags with gifts. But Lynn and her friends gave the homeless much more than just food and hygiene products.

Scott Arthur, the representative of the Star of Hope, said: «Teenagers seemed to be respectful of these people. The orphanage took it as confirmation that people care».

Overall, Lynn and her friends are pleased with about 200 people. «It was a magical day,» said Arthur. «It gives them faith in today’s youth. High school students are able to think about other people.»

The inhabitants stood to applaud Lynn and lined up to hug her, touched her compassion. Arthur adds: «I told her that it was her last exam and she received the highest rating».

The girl plans to help people in the future. She’s going to go to Briar cliff University to study nursing. «I think you should always remember how lucky you are to have what we have,» said Lynn. «Do not take this for granted and continue to help people.»
