Alkalis Almanzar, better known as Cardi B, was charged with the felony after a fight at a strip club in Queens.
Court records show that it was faced with multiple charges in the case, including two counts of attempted assault, harassment, criminal prosecution and conspiracy.
On Thursday, the day before the presentation of her accusations, Cardi B got the award of songwriter of the American society of composers, authors and publishers (Ascap).
According to reports, the club a fight broke out, which threw chairs, bottles and hookahs, slightly injuring the woman and another employee.
Prosecutors said that Cardi B will appear in court next week in Queens.
Before starting his musical career, the artist worked as a stripper and started to blog in Instagram.
