Orion Metheny and Kylie Schmidt (now Schmidt-Metheny) can boast of a perfect love story. They met at Church when they were teenagers. «I was 15 (almost 16) and she was 17 (almost 18),» says Orion. «We spent a few years in the distance when she went to College in Nashville, Tennessee. I graduated high school and went to College in our hometown of Morgantown, West Virginia. After College, she came back. We got engaged on our 4th anniversary and as a whole met almost 5.5 years before getting married».
The charming couple also waited to move in together. But there was one thing that marred an upcoming celebration. Although Kylie was happy to spend the rest of my life with Orion, she knew she would miss Nala, the cat of her parents when leaving the family home. She really wanted a cat, but Orion never had Pets.

In a post that has already become viral, wedding photographer Megan O’dell told in detail what happened next. She was privy to a little secret: Orion wanted to give Kylie the kitten from a shelter and make it on the day of the wedding, surprising her new furry family member. «Orion was not the biggest fan of animals living in the house, but Kylie loves cats and could not imagine life without a pet cat when I moved into a new house with Orion,» wrote Megan. «Orion changed his point of view and took the kitten to surprise her at the wedding, because she certainly didn’t expect! When the shelter refused him, because he mentioned that it will be a wedding gift, fate made it so that he saw 2 abandoned kittens outside his house.»
The grandmother of Orion, Jin (’92) helped her grandson to take the kitten to the wedding. A cat called Chloe. Wedding day facial expression was priceless Kylie, and even in the photos you can almost hear how she says «I really can leave?!»

The couple also clarified that the 2 kitty who was found near his home, also found a loving home. «The second kitten found a home! Family rescued both kittens, but they could only keep one. So I was able to take Chloe. I just left the second kitten how people thought of this story. I would never have done». He added: «Chloe adjusts well itself.
