There’s a lot of cute things — but I don’t think they can compare with a charming hedgehog-traveler, conquered Instagram.
His story began a few years ago — with 27-year-old prayer shawls, Hernus from Wiesbaden (Germany), which was given a hard time moving guy and a long-distance relationship. Once he decided to cheer up the Talita by sending a photo of a hedgehog. She also sent the picture in response, and soon the couple already exchanged photos of adorable rodents.
In the end, Talita was thinking about how to make a hedgehog. According to the girl, such Pets are not suitable for everyone: care for adorable — it is quite time-consuming and expensive, and they are not in a hurry to get used to their owners.
Fortunately, Hernus not afraid of difficulties and very soon in her life there was Mr. Pokey. Talita fell in love with a hedgehog at first glance, and even decided to make it to a blog on Instagram — which then turned to girl into a full-fledged profession.
Talita Pokey and become real stars of the social networks with more than 1.5 million subscribers. The girl spent entire days analyzing the content to blog, posting new photos, answering fan mail, creating labels, calendars and other merchandise with the face of the pet.
One of the most famous video featuring Pokey — where the hostess rubs his tummy. As explained by Hernus, it’s a great sign of trust from the animal, and it took her nearly six months to the hedgehog allowed himself to touch.
«Hedgehogs have very poor eyesight, so they get used to you, listening to your voice and learning to recognize your scent. — says the girl — When they are afraid of something or in doubt [in the host], then just curl up into a ball, so you couldn’t touch their tummy.»
Another hallmark of a pair of steel walks together in the fresh air: while Talita Pokey and enjoyed the scenery, the owner certainly took pictures pet. According to Gernes, he was not afraid of the new situation — because you know she’s around.
Unfortunately, Pokey died this March from bacterial infection. The heart of his mistress was broken: the girl went on a journey that though as-that to distract from the loss, and decided not to respond to countless letters subscribers.
However, then one of the messages still caught her attention. The owner of the other hedgehog turned to Talit for help when she discovered that she was allergic to a new pet.

After a little thought, she agreed to look at the poor hedgehog and immediately fell victim to his charm. She without hesitation took the rodent to him.

Talita says she still longs for Pokey and always will be — but when in her life there is another hedgehog, she just couldn’t deny him love and care.
