The American Airlines plane during a landing slipped off a snowy runway

Yesterday, November 11, during landing at the international airport O’hara in Chicago the American Airlines plane, on Board of which there were 41 people, slid off a snowy runway.

Video shot by passenger Joseph Layanam shows that the plane turns sideways, and then off the runway when the wing touches the ground.

«After landing, the plane slid off the runway due to icy conditions in Chicago — said the press-Secretary of the American Airlines Sarah Yantz. All 38 passengers and three crew members were landed from the plane, and safely proceeded to the terminal.»

Some passengers said that the visibility was poor.

«This was our second attempt at landing,» said passenger Sean Steele.

«Visibility was not at all,’ said another passenger, Luis Torres, Father. We saw a town about 50 feet from the ground. It is dangerous».

He accused the airline that she had put passengers at risk, landing in unsafe conditions.

More than 600 flights were canceled in the windy City on Monday, and hundreds more were delayed, according to FlightAware and the Department of aviation Chicago.
