Two cruise ship collided in the Caribbean sea: injured passengers (video)

On Friday morning in Cozumel (Mexico) in the Caribbean, faced two cruise ship, in which suffered, according to preliminary information, six people.

According to the Carnival Cruise Linesship «Carnival Glory» maneuvered to dock in Cozumel, when collided with the liner «Carnival Legend», which was nearby.

Guests with decks 3 and 4 on the «Carnival Glory» has had to be temporarily evacuated to other decks.

Numerous videos posted on social networks, it is noticeable that ship «Carnival Glory» has received damage to stern and starboard.

According to representatives of the company, Carnival Cruise Lines, both ships still seaworthy after the accident. The ships will remain in Cozumel on Friday.

Ship «Carnival Legend» is based in Tampa (Florida), which was due back on Sunday. «Carnival Glory» is based in New Orleans (Louisiana).

Here is the official statement from Carnival Cruise Line on the incident:
«This morning, December 20, in Cozumel «Carnival Glory», which was in the process of prosvetova, crashed into the liner «Carnival Legend», which was already moored.
We estimate the damage, but the incident did not affect the buoyancy of both ships. We advised the guests of both ships to spend the day on the beach. Six people with minor injuries went to a health centre «Carnival Glory» for evaluation».
