Married couple from North Carolina, USA had to blush and make excuses this week after police responded to a call to their house because they were told that the house was broken into by a robber. But on the site they found that it was just innocently doing their job device.
Thomas Milam and his wife slept at his home in Forsyth County, North Carolina, USA, when they woke up after midnight, hearing loud noises coming from the first floor, according to news outlet FOX 8. Concerned that someone broke into their house, Milam and his wife hid in the closet and called 911. But when they arrived officers from the County Sheriff’s office Forsyth, they found that the raiders were simply automated vacuum robot, who fought on the wall.
«They asked me how much we have this robotic vacuum cleaner and I said «about 2 days» and they all just started laughing, because they knew that such things happen. But they are well behaved. They are well reacted to this,» he told FOX8 Milam.
He added that he and his wife was embarrassing, but «better safe than sorry».
«I would still call the police,» he said. «Because you never know what can happen.»
It should be noted that most commentators agreed that the family did the right thing, hiding in the closet and contacting law enforcement agencies, as if the house was indeed raided an armed robber, the family would be in trouble.
