It is known that the Italian tourist, the name and age of which were not disclosed, arrived at the Canary Islands from the Lombardy region, where several people died from the coronavirus.

According to local media reports, he was in hotel with my wife last week, and yesterday, February 24, he appealed to the medical center, feeling ill and tested positive for Covid-19.

Currently he is quarantined in the hospital Nuestra Señora de Candelaria University in the capital of Tenerife Santa Cruz.

This brings the number of cases of coronavirus in Spain to three. Before that, a German tourist was quarantined after he was diagnosed with Covid-19, but he recovered, and he is allowed to return home as 46-year-old British immigrant from Mallorca who was hospitalized after being infected with coronavirus at a ski resort in the Alps. Of his wife men, his daughters, and eight-year-old boy who was in close contact with the family, turned out to be a negative test result.
